Main Purpose of job
  • Supporting IT /VDI project Delivery and Maintenance
  •  Effectively communicate with customer & colleagues.
  •  Master the hardware and software delivery and maintenance
  •  Monitor and track technical information and issue early warnings and disseminates information as needed.
  •  As a 24*7*365 organization; shift work, holidays and on-call responsibilities may be required.
  •  Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Specific Requirements
Skills and competencies
  • Unix, Linux and Windows OS administration(Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS, and Security)
  • Have fundamental Networking knowledge (OSI model, router, switch). CCNA and MCSE certificate is a plus.
  •  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Storage & Servers product (Huawei/EMC/IBM/HP) knowledge. 
  • Knowledge of storage architecture and RAID technologies.
  • Storage Arrays & Storage Virtualization;
  • Technologies. Storage Arrays & Storage Virtualization;
  •  SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre & FCoE protocols ;SAN,NAS,NFS,CIFS,SAS protocols
  •  IT Backup ,VDI,private or Public Cloud , Data Ceter Project experience  is a plus
  •  VMware vSpherer /Hyper-v/Citrix XenServer; VMware View/MicroSoft
  • VDI/XenDesktop;VERITAS VxVM /VxFS and clusters .
  •  Familiar with SQL/MySQL/Oracle Database /RAC/ASM.
  • Shell scripting, PERL for automating tasks; Kernel internals for debugging.

Educational Requirements
NQF Level 6 or above in computer science
Experience Required
2-3 years IT Project job experience(EMC/IBM/HP/Dell )
