Mobisol Ltd was established in 2013 to foster and expand our operations within the Tanzanian market and accompany our growth through East Africa. 

 

As part of our growth plans in Tanzania, Mobisol Ltd is now looking for potential candidates to fill the following positions.  

 

 

1)      Office Administrator- (Mbeya)

 

The main role of the Office Coordinator is to Support Departments by provide support services to the zonal Hub departments to facilitate smooth operations. The Office Coordinator assists the management team, carries out administrative tasks, and ensures smooth travel and visitor management. 

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Planning and coordinating travel and program for internal and external stakeholders

·       Coordinating Mobisol expatriates' arrival and stay

·       Acting as a first point of contact for external visitors

·       Reporting dubious visitors to the security personnel

·       Organizing logistics of meetings/events

·       Attending to queries and referring emails, calls or visitors to the appropriate department/person

·       Performing administrative tasks as required by management, including preparation and maintenance of records, official correspondence, and filing

·       Keeping office equipment and facilities maintained

·         Organizing and coordinating support staff (cleaner, guard)

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         A Bachelor Degree in any related field (i.e. Administration, HR, event management, project management)

·         Minimum 2 years administrative experience

·         Experience in an international environment is a plus

·         Computer literate with high level of skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Fluency in English and CO specific language

·         Very strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

2)       Sales Agent Coordinator- (Mbeya)

The Sales Agent Coordinator (SAC) is responsible for managing a team of Sales Agents. Coordination of SA primarily includes the monitoring of SA performance and their achievement of sales targets.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Supervise a network of SA in the assigned region and act as the first level of escalations to resolve all SAs' issues through regular feedback, one-to-one sessions 

·       Monitor the performance of SA through regular field visits (at least once a month) and complete the SA Monitoring Profile

·       Supervise and monitor Information Centre (IC) with SA licence: Point 1 and 2 applies

·       Facilitate re-certification process in collaboration with MAKIE

·       Prepare weekly and monthly action plan - use the standardized format

·       Prepare monthly MH meeting with the attached SA

·       When at the MH, monitor the appearance and Mobisol set up (e.g. Demo system) according to the MH Monitoring Sheet; submit the sheet to the MH Team Leader

·         Carry out administrative tasks

 

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         Graduate with minimum of 1 year of experience in coordinating a team (10-20 people)

·         Experience of coaching, managing, developing and motivating individuals to improve performance

·         Ability to inspire and support a team towards the achievement of targets

·         Proficient in Excel and analytical skills 

·         Strong sense of urgency and deadline driven            

·         Capable of troubleshooting ad-hoc issues independently

·         Dynamic self-starter, high energy and strong initiative

·         Willingness to travel domestically in geographic region assigned

·         Fluency in CO-­‐specific language and English

3)      Inventory Officer (Mbeya)

 

The Inventory Officer is primarily responsible for the continuous stock control and inventory management within the Zonal Hub.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Implement and supervise the continuous stock taking procedure at the Zonal Hub

·       Oversee all incoming and outgoing goods at the Zonal Hub and record them to the inventory accordingly

·       Supervise periodic physical stock taking at the Zonal Hub

·       Point out discrepancies between the physical and the continuous stock taking and report them to the Head of Logistics

·       Oversee the stock in all attached Market Hubs of the Zonal Hub in order to consider this stock as part of the extended Zonal Hub inventory

·       Supervise offloading of incoming shipments and ensure accurate documentation of the delivery

·       Prepare the arrangement of the stock ground early enough for new incoming shipments to ensure a smooth offloading process

·       Define a base stock for all items in order to avoid shortages of any kind within the Zonal Hub and the attached Market Hubs.

·       Be single point of contact for the Head of Logistic in reference to actual stock, shortages and other inventory related issues

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or operations-related field is preferred; Master's degree is a plus

·         3+ years of experience

·         Working experiences in retail logistics

·         Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with quantitative analytics

·         Highly-organized with clear dissemination and collection of information to / from a team

·         Strong sense of urgency and deadline driven

·         Capable of troubleshooting ad-hoc issues independently

·         Dynamic self-starter, high energy and strong initiative

·         Ability to research, reconcile and communicate business data.

4)      IT Officer (Mbeya)

The IT Administrator is primarily responsible for the set up, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of Mobisol's staff computers and IT infrastructure throughout the Mobisol facilities (National Hub, Arusha Regional Hub). The incumbent ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to Mobisol's operations and organizational values.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·         General IT infrastructure management: responsible for setting up and running working computers (e.g. installation /configuration / update of Operating system / software / features) and Internet networks

·         Organise new mail addresses for new staff members 

·         Make sure that log in data get saved by the user and that the Mobisol mail programme and Wiki can be accessed by each

·         Train staff to handle their computers properly and on how to use the programs eg. MS Office, Thunderbird, Skype, Browser, Skydrive, Android

·         Be the contact person for staff computer problems and questions. Improve the individual computer competencies.

·         Keep an overview/inventory about the IT equipment in use and identify need of purchase of new systems

 

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         Bachelor degree/Diploma in computer science or equivalent

·         Extended knowledge of MS Office Programs

·         Experience with Unix based operating systems

·         Programming and database experience

·         Fluent in Kiswahili and English

·         In-depth technical understanding, especially Windows and networking

·         Experiences in providing training and technical support

·         Knowledge of Windows systems and IP Networks 

·         Interpersonal and social skills: ability to communicate complex matters in a comprehensible way

·         Logical reasoning, ability to work independently

5)      Marketing Officer

The main role of the Marketing Officer is responsible for implementing the company's marketing planning and organizes marketing events in those areas Mobisol is active. The incumbent plays a key part in communicating the organizations marketing message.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Prepare and Keep Up to date the monthly Marketing Plans for the region/target markets assigned (in close coordination with the sales department)

·       Conduct and Evaluate Marketing Programs, Campaigns and Events

·       Communicate potential market areas and ensuring knowledge about competition on the market and communicate to the Marketing Team Leader and Marketing Manager

·         Assist in planning and organizing the opening of new Market Hubs and Information Centres within their region of operation as well as conducting marketing before and after the launching

·       Regular update on Regional Territory File

·         Set up/implement specific Mobisol marketing channels according to the concept agreed by the Marketing Manager and/or Marketing Team Leader in his/her absence.

·       Coordination with Sales Team to ensure attendance of Sales Agents at marketing events (entity to make sales out of leads created)

 

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         University Degree in Marketing or similar

·         Driving License

·         Experience with promotional strategies, in particular in targeting rural markets and their demands

·         Experience in presenting to an audience of 50+ potential customers

·         Experience with solar products is an added benefit

·         Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position

·         Very good spoken and written English

·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team

·         Self-management and organizational skills, reliable character, creative, innovative

·         Marketing Design Experience is an added advantage

6)      Procurement Officer (Mbeya)

The Procurement and Supply Officer is primarily responsible for the procurement and supply of all equipment requested by the Head of Departments within the respective Zonal Hub.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Receive Orders from Heads of Departments for supply needs of their respective departments

·       Process these orders and arrange purchase and delivery of the supply need in time

·       Liaising with local suppliers to ensure efficient and working Local Purchase Agreements (LPAs)

·       Ensure constant availability and safety of all goods frequently used in the day to day business

·       Catalogue purchase needs of the Zonal Hub for reference of future purchases, cost control and procurement forecasting

·       Communicate to Head of Logistics about regular supply of local purchased goods order to increase efficiency of procurement process

·         Communicate to Finance Department about the monthly procurement requirements and provide them with a summary of expenses

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         Bachelor degree in Procurement and Logistics Management is preferred; Master's degree is a plus

·         3+ years of experience

·         Working experiences in retail logistics

·         Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with quantitative analytics

7)      Technician Coordinator (Mbeya)

The Technician Coordinator (TC) is responsible for managing a team of Technicians. Coordination of Technicians primarily includes the monitoring of Technicians' performance.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Supervise a network of Technician in the assigned region and act as the first level of escalations and resolve all Technicians' issues within the team through regular feedback, one-to-one sessions and team meetings in the field

·       Where required, identify new Technicians and further develop the network within the assigned region; Facilitate MAKIE certification process

·       Prepare weekly and monthly report of activities and share with the Technician Coordinators Team Leader

·       Prepare and control monthly commission payments for the Technicians – using DB CSV exports and customer courtesy call report and daily calls

·       Ensure the Technicians submit all the necessary information for the system installed or maintenance cases before the end of the month

·       Coach and mentor existing Technicians; Facilitate re-certification process in collaboration with MAKIE

·         Carry out administrative tasks

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·         Minimum of 1 year of experience in coordinating as well as mentoring a team (30+ people)

·         Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electronics or Electrical 

·         Proficient in Excel and analytical skills

8)      Zonal Accountant (Mbeya)

Zonal accountant is primarily responsible for processing documents such as invoices, payment vouchers, employee reimbursements/floats, cash receipts, and petty cash vouchers; code financial information; compile financial information for accuracy; and maintain records. Applying knowledge of accounting and spreadsheets to generate financial data.

 

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Process zonal budgets,ensure proper allocation of funds as per requested budget and act as a zonal hub budget holder,

·         Act as an account operator in all disbursement  and Bank accounts

·         Monitor cash accounts  and give proper justifications at month end including preparation of imprest report.

·         Processing of all payment documentsand do internal checks of the same on the existence and validity of the receipts in respect of payments.

·         Summarize all financial data  by considering right formatting and coding which is compactible with accounting software.

·         Peform Month end Bank and Mpesa disbursementReconcilliations.

·         Process  and follow up on salary advance requests, per diem claims,pensioncontributions claims and other staff related payment requests

·         Preparation of necessary documents for all kind of taxes, business licenses, and business registrations and ensure both are paid on time

·         Maintaining proper filling system of all financial information in a confidential manner

·         Preparation of Cheque Lists

·         Processing and initiating payments for all levels of contractors and prepare witholding tax certificates for the same.

·         Assist in annual Audit preparation  for Mobisol uk Limited

Qualifications and skills required:

 

·       Bachelor Degree in Accounts and finance or equivalent. CPA will be an added advantage.

·       Computer literate with high level of excel skills

·       A working experience of at least  one year  is an added advantage

·       Knowledge of Accounting packages

·       Ability to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working

·       Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)

·       Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili – verbal and written

·       Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels
