Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 45 countries worldwide. MST's goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our highly motivated team in the following roles;

Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is responsible for the systematic execution of all procurement procedures, and for the timely and cost effective purchasing of all equipment, supplies and services required by Marie Stopes Tanzania. The Procurement Officer ensures that all purchases adhere to Marie Stopes London Partnership best-practice, MST Procurement Guidelines, follow donor-compliance guidelines, and are fit for purpose and best value for money

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all goods and services are of acceptable quality and are purchased and delivered on time.
• Actively coordinate with all departments and centers as necessary to ensure timely procurement of equipment and services that are fit for purpose and best value for money.
• Ensure that all aspects of the procurement process to comply with Marie Stopes Tanzania/Marie Stopes London and donor regulations and no procurement rejected for non-compliance by auditors
• Ensure that complete records are kept for all procurement and ensure that goods purchased are delivered to the appropriate location/person.
• Responsible for maintaining all Procurement Dept. files in a professional manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Qualifications:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Procurement /Supply Chain or Management
• Graduate from PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technician Board) with CPSP(Certified Procurement and Suppliers Professional) or equivalent
• Fluent in English both oral and written.,
• Knowledge of Donors procurement regulations
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement (desirable)

Experience
• At least 3 years of handling all aspects of the procurement process for supplies, equipment and services within a large organisation
• Demonstrated experience of strong negotiating skills and actively managing relations with suppliers

QUALITY COORDINATOR
The quality coordinator is a member of the Medical Development Team (Clinical Quality Team) and is responsible with other team member for ensuring clinical excellence and maintaining quality and clinical excellence thought Marie Stopes Tanzania health service system..

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensure Health service providers have appropriate competencies and capacity to offer high quality medical services through various channels.
• Ensure High quality standards clinical standards and complete client satisfaction achieved at centers and on outreach
• Work Closely with Clinical services Lead to develop strategies, plans and tool for implementation of Quality Technical Assistance (QTA) interventions.
• Review clinical records on regular basis to establish areas for improvement (and subsequently provide appropriate technical support)
• Document and share lessons generated during implementation of clinical quality and safety initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Qualifications:
• Recognized degree or advance diploma in medicine, nursing or related medical sciences
• Training on Quality improvement is added advantage

Experience
• At Least 3 years of working in medical practice and demonstrating an ability to train others
• Prior experience of working with government health facilities and Regional and District Health Management teams will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated relevant work experience in health sector focusing on Clinical Quality

ASSISTANT INTERNAL SYSTEMS CONTROLLER
The purpose of this role is to assist internal systems assessor / controller to carry out an independent assessment of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures, internal controls and standards by which the organisation's financial, physical and information resources are managed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work and assist internal systems assessor to ensure that systems and processes in place are fit for purpose. To ensure that all major financial and management systems and procedure risks of the organisation are identified and analysed, on a regular basis.
• To assist internal systems assessor in planning, organising and carry out the internal assessment function for the Country programme, including the preparation of an assessment plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department.
• To assist the internal systems assessor to coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other's work but also well briefed on areas of concern.
• To understand key donor compliance requirements to build into internal systems assessment scope of Country Programs.
• To detect instances of fraud and / or non-compliance and bring them to the notice of the Country Director / Internal Systems Assessor

INTERNAL SYSTEMS CONTROLLER 
The purpose of this role is to carry out an independent assessment of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures, internal controls and standards by which the organisation's financial, physical and information resources are managed. You will add value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management and carrying out value for money & sustainability reviews, thereby assisting the management in the effective discharge of their responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work with the Country Director, and Executive Management Team (EMT) to ensure that systems and processes in place are fit for purpose. To ensure that all major financial and management systems and procedure risks of the organisation are identified and analysed, on a regular basis.
• To lead, plan, organise and implement the internal systems assessment function for the Country programme, including the preparation of an assessment plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs for the same.
• To report to the Country Director on the policies, programmes and activities of the department.
• To coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other's work but also well briefed on areas of concern.
• To make recommendations on the systems, internal controls and procedures being reviewed, report on the findings and recommendations and monitor management's response and implementation
• To understand key donor compliance requirements to build into internal systems and procedures of the Country Programs.
• To detect instances of fraud and / or non-compliance and bring them to the notice of the Country Director
