Pyrethrum Company of Tanzania Ltd (PCT) a subsidiary of an international company, is engaged in agro processing business. The company is promoting the growing, processing and exporting pyrethrum management team and cope with our business expansion, PCT is looking for high caliber personnel to fill the positions: Accountants (3)

Job Title: Accountant – 3 posts

Must have "hands on "accounting experience. Duties and responsibilities include:-
• Overseeing field cash management by buying agents, field cashier.
• Developing and maintaining files for buying agents records, documents.
• Controlling cash advances to buying agents and flower delivery on daily basis
• Preparing monthly summary of other Expenses related to flower purchases.
• Maintaining daily summary details of flower receipts at the factory.
• Preparing daily reconciliation statement of Agents` delivery notes and company`s flower receipts records to rectify any discrepancy or error.
• Reconciling on weekly basis cash advances and flower delivery.
• Reconciling flower cash requisitions and cash issued Note/field cashier`s accountability for cahs check completeness of supporting documents such as cash issue voucher.
• Preparing control summary showing cash advances and flower delivery for each buying agent.
• Working closely with other departments in maintaining the accuracy of flower received at the factory and posted in the system.
• Tracking and ensuring buying agents submit cash utilization reports after every two weeks as agreed and follow up for non compliance.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports of advances, deliveries and cash balances.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the finance manager or general manager.

Required skill
• University degree (B.Com or BA) or higher diploma in accountancy from a recognized university or institution.
• Computer knowledge (excel, word) is a must.
• Good mathematical and analytical skill
