Position: Security Guards (3 Positions)
The School of St Jude is a charity funded NGO that provides a FREE, high-quality education to almost 1,900 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha. We are seeking a creative energetic individual to fill the position above based in Arusha, Tanzania at the School of St Jude.
Job Purpose:
To provide and maintains security within the school environment and all the checkpoint
Key Responsibilities
§ Greets members of the public and ascertains their business in the school compound
§ Provides directions to members of the public/visitors/staff and student
§ Provides a security presence within the school environment
§ Prevents damage to property;
§ May possess and use a police radio (walkie-talkie) to summon police, as required;
§ May maintain simple log or record of all items before arrival and departure
§ Close relationship with the store department (in-ward / out ward material slip maintain)
Register all visitors and issue ID cards
Keep attendance register at a gate
Academic Qualification:
§ Certificate in Security Management or any other related field from a recognized College or University.
§ Must have an experience of 2-3 years.
Skills and Competence:
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
§ Ability to work well in a team environment
§ Willingness to work flexible hours
