This role is responsible to oversee all responsibilities related to advance financial products and services. These include identifying new potential AF products and services, developing AF products and Services and the implementation of AF products and services
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Awareness of Macro developments within the Mobile Money industry
- Identify key growth opportunities
- Align resources and delivery to ensure long term sustainable outcomes
- Engage at executive level internally and externally
Business Development
- Ensure knowledgeable about trends in both the Mobile and Formal financial services industry
- Identify where necessary short, medium and long term business partners, vendors to support business needs
- Gather proposals and apply consideration to best practice
- Prepare feasibility studies on proposed AF products and Services
- Prepare a risk matrix for the function
- Prepare professional business case to substantiate proposals
- Work with consumer understanding team to determine market conditions and size of opportunity
- Work closely with our procurement team to ensure strong vendor selection and contract management are in place
Product Development and Roadmap
- Define AF product roadmap and definitions
- Work with product and technical team to develop high quality product blueprint
- Manage product and service delivery team to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage vendors and business partners whilst onsite and/or offsite
- Prepare product roadmap for AF products and services
Implementation of services
- Work with product and commercial team on a G2M strategy
- Deliver expected outcomes

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Master degree preferred, Bachelors required.
• Minimum of 3 years in management positions
.
• Minimum of 3 years in formal financial services industry
• Understanding of related processes.
• Understanding of project management and delivery
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services
• Strong knowledge of MFS workings and People management.
• Analytical and Evaluation skills
• Excellent Communication skills.
