This position is located in the Organizational Change Management Team of Umoja in the Department of Management in New York. The Intern reports to Umoja Training Coordinator/ Team Lead.
The Department of Management/Umoja internship is for two months with an opportunity for extension, pending on the needs of the Office. The internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.
The internship commitment is for 5 days per week from 26 January through 30 April 2015, though this commitment can be negotiable.
Education
Applicants must:
(a) be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or
(b) be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); or
(c) have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) or (b) above) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one year period of graduation.

Work Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme.
Languages
Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
