About the Tony Blair Faith Foundation
The Tony Blair Faith Foundation provides the practical support required to help prevent religious prejudice, conflict and extremism in order to have an open minded and stable world. Through exposure and education the Foundation prevents religious prejudice which can lead to violence in the name of religion. Our objectives are to:
- Inform – we will educate decision makers and raise awareness of the role of religion in the world in order that the best strategies can be developed and implemented to counter religious conflict and extremism, and lead to open minded, pluralistic societies.
- Deliver highly targeted projects that are replicable and scalable - we will design, develop, deliver and prove that key interventions through education and exposure can prevent and counter religious prejudice, conflict and extremism.
- Push for systematic change – through partnerships, effective advocacy and powerful media, we will use our evidence, brand and convening power to ensure systematic change.
The Foundation works in some of the world's toughest situations where we offer bold, practical and innovative solutions where there is real need. We are not a religious organisation. We are unaffiliated, working with all those committed to peaceful co-existence, including those of faith and none.
