Financial Analyst
Duty Station: Country Office, Dar es Salaam
Job Responsibilities:
• Financial/Portfolio analysis of different programs.
• Responsible for regular preparation and distribution of various reports to stakeholders as per the schedule.
• Preparing project specific budgets.
• Prepare periodical budget variance reports.
• Submitting periodical reports on program activities to Donors, Investors & Development Partners.
• Working with upper management to deliver business proposals.
• Analyzing the performance of microfinance industry and compare with the organization.
• Accumulating and analyzing financial and operational data for discussion with upper management.
• Analysis the performance if microfinance industry throughout the work and compare them with BRAC.
• Analyzing different financial information including in depth ratio analysis and interpretation.
• Submitting financial reports to different donor agencies and investors.
• Preparing both short term (Project Specific) and or long term (Country Specific) Budgets for different BRAC entities outside Bangladesh.
• Working with upper management to deliver business proposals comprising long term business plan to different investors.
• Forecasting and determine future fund requirement for different projects.
• Customize reports for higher management.
Education:
Commerce Graduate Bachelor in Business Studies specialized in Finance or and Accounting or any related discipline from any Local or International University or Institution recognized by the University Grant Commission and Government of Tanzania.
Professional:
Having any previous experience of working in local or and international Development Organization or having certification in the related subject would be given priority. Experience may be relaxed for the deserving candidates.
Technical:
Proficient in Microsoft windows Office Packages, (especially in Excel, word and PowerPoint)MS Office (Specifically), SPSS, Web Internet and Related other software`s like ERP. operating on latest as well as older versions. Reporting and presentation skills is a must.
Language:
Fluency in English is a must in all form.
Others:
• Ready to move anywhere all over the country and for being relocated anywhere anytime as per the management requirement.
• Have to be a cool customer to satisfy the management with both service and behavior.
• Have to be a good team member and able to work under tremendous pressure with a great deal of high self motivationself-motivation.
• Must be a deadline oriented person to accomplish the task within the deadline as well as discipline.
