Service Delivery Manager

The Sandvik IT GSS Delivery function is accountable for delivering IT services and ensuring agreed value is accomplished for the various BAs within the Sandvik group. We are now looking to appoint a Service Delivery Manager who will be working with Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS), in a position with flexible location.

Key performance areas

As Service Delivery Manager you will act as the overall contact between our function and SMS, with responsibility for our delivery to the BA. You will also manage SMS's new demands, including gathering service requirements from business partners (BPs), defining service content, ensuring delivery capacity and performing price calculations, along with other functions within our organization. Communicating expectations to said BPs will also be a significant part of your task, as will documenting and managing the agreed service levels in our Service Level Agreement. Lastly, you will be accountable for an assigned budget, while ensuring both regular and effective communication with BPs, as well as safeguarding the continual improvement of our services, so as to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years' experience from working with IT delivery, project management, or other relevant areas of expertise. Your business process understanding is excellent and, preferably, focused on the SMS BA. Knowledge of PMP or ITIL is advantageous, while excellent skills in English, both in writing and speaking, are prerequisite.
