Tanzania Leaf Tobacco Company Limited (TLTC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of
POSITION: SENIOR CLASSIFIERS (3 POSTS)
Roles and Responsibilities
Key function of this position will include
• Participating in farmers training and ensures they understand proper grading and bailing
• Gives refresher on Tanzania Tobacco Board (TTP) and TLTC grading system and updating on the buying programs to the senior buyer
• Report on, Market speed and problems, general quality of Tobacco, Buyer allowances and transportation of the buyer and their facilities
• Supervise and buying team in the allocated areas, handle problems, and ensure subordinates abides to buyer's code of conduct.
• Assist on supervising of tobacco processing and preparation of customer's inspections samples
• Perform SHE, and ISO tasks as per Company standard
• Perform all tasks, functions and duties that management consider being beneficial in the further training and development of the employees.
Reporting & Location
The job incumbent will base in Morogoro reporting directly to the Leaf Manager in Morogoro
Qualification and Experience
• At least first degree in Business Administration/Agricultureal from Reputable higher learning Institution.
• 8-10 years' experience on the same field
ALL CANDIDATES
• MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH English and Kiswahili (speaking, writing and reading)
• Can work with minimum supervision
• Good computer skills in a windows environment, particularly with MS excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Must have strong report writing skills
• Self-motivated in performing the responsibilities, be able to work both independently and within a team environment to meet deadlines
• Flexible and can be transformed to any environment
REMUNERATIONS
Salary offered is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
