Restless Development is the leading youth-led development agency. We have been working in Tanzania since 1993 and have established an impressive track record in delivering grassroots impact through youth led development programmes aligned to the Government of Tanzania's poverty reduction plans and Millennium Development Goals.
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our team in Tanzania. This role will lead on ensuring delivery and management of high quality youth led Youth and Social Enterprise Programme; Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights Programme; and Civic Participation Programmes in Mbeya. The role has a strong focus on strengthening the pilot work of these three programmes with a special emphasis on engaging marginalised groups of young people.
We are seeking a young professional with programme management experience, who can demonstrate their talent at managing a diverse team of experienced youth and community development practitioners. Your value driven leadership and commitment to achieving goals will ensure the team meets its performance targets and delivers high impact initiatives. Working with young people and local stakeholders throughout the region, your role will be to oversee our Youth Social Enterprise programme, support the implementation of our Mabinti Tushike Hatamu(MTH) Project; and strengthen our Civic Participation initiatives. You will play a key role in the coordination of partnerships and advocacy of youth issues among policy implementers and youth led and youth service organizations.
