This is to notify the public that the Regional manager, TANROADS Shinyanga is looking for well qualified candidates to fill SIX (6) various vacancies available at Tinde and Mwendakulima Weighbridge stations in Shinyanga region.

POSITION; CASHIER (3 POSTS)
Key qualifications
• Age; Between 25 and 35 years
• Education qualifications; minimum holder of Ordinary Secondary School, Advanced Secondary School and ATEC, NABE III or equivalent. High qualification will be advantageous
• Additional qualifications; must be a computer literate at least certificate in computer applications
• Language; Must be fluent in Kiswahili and English
• Citizenship; Must be Tanzanian by birth
Responsibilities
• Enforcement of Road Traffic Axle Load Control by use of the weighbridge Scale devices
Duties
a) Carrying out vehicle weighing activities as described in the Road Traffic (Maximum Weight of Vehicles) regulations, 2001. The activities include the following:
I. Collecting and Banking all weighbridge charges (fees) according to weighbridge form
II. Provide and keep the current rates of exchange issued by Bank of Tanzania at the weighbridge stations
III. Undertakes filling and record keeping duties
IV. Maintain assets register
V. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Manager from time to time.
