We are particularly looking for individuals with strong analytical skills to meet a growing workload. Expertise in economics or statistics is desirable especially if acquired in a policy context.
The UK Commission for Employment and Skills is, uniquely, a government partner organisation led by their Commissioners, who are: entrepreneurs, leaders of large businesses, the third sector, trade unions, Further and Higher Education and others. They work with industry and government to ensure better investment in people's skills to drive economic performance
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead key areas of our research programme in a unique skills body. You will contribute to the development and delivery of the overall strategic business plan, and be confident in your decision making ability within your areas of responsibility.
We want to hear from innovative and creative candidates, who are strategic and proactive in their approach. You will be confident in your interpersonal abilities to achieve business outcomes through the management of highly professional teams. An effective communicator, with exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will influence a range of partners from within industry and government and present research in a compelling way that has impact. You will be able to use research evidence to transform policies and strategies into workable solutions through the management and effective delivery of complex projects, to time and budget.
Candidates could come from various sector backgrounds provided they have a transferable skill set. If you are in a senior analytical role and are looking for your next step we would welcome your application.
This represents a unique opportunity for an individual to engage with commercial and government stakeholders whilst broadening their research experience and network.
