4. PUBLIC AND INTERNATIONAL RELATION MANAGER (1 POST)
Job purpose: Establish and maintain good-natured, cooperative relationships with consumers, the
Government, local communities, media and other public-interest groups.
Responsibilities
• Planning, developing and implementing Public Relation strategies;
• liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations
• Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
• Maintaining and updating information on the organization's website;
• Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;
• Commissioning market research;
• Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in
community initiatives;
• Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a PR-related professional, like journalism, marketing or mass
communication.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
• Strong Organization, Planning and Decision Making skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Behavioral competencies
