PROJECT COORDINATOR AT TANZANIA COTTON BOARD POSITION: PROJECT COORDINATOR (1 POST)
The candidate will be responsible to ensure that the client's requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within the approved budget. Other functions include but not limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities;
•    Work with project committee in preparing the Annual work plan, yearly budgets of the project and oversee implementation schedules as per approved budget, and supervise overall technical, administrative and financial implementation of the project.
•    Oversee the management of project resources in collaboration with the project committee and Directorates
•    Ensure adherence to EU Project Rules and Regulations as well as procurement procedures and processes (technical and financial) as laid out in the project practical Guide (PRAG)
•    Assist the Project Committee and HR Office in organizing workshops, seminars and meetings connected with the project
•    Assist the Director General, with regular project updates and project financial progress, to measure financial progress against technical progress
•    Evaluating the project requirements and providing useful assistance to serve project needs
•    Assist the project, with financial, procurement and HR issues if and when needed
•    Receive and arrange for  reproduction and circulation of reports, studies and other relevant project documentation
•    Secure the submission of a detailed expenditure report of the project, on monthly and quarterly basis
Minimum Qualifications and experience required
Education requirements:
Holder of Master's Degree in project planning and management or master's Degree in Business administration with focus on project management from recognized University/Institution.
Qualitative requirement:
The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent command of English, Attention to details, computer literate, work well individually and as part of a team, and able to priorities and plan ahead
Experience:
A minimum of five years work experience with donor funded projects
