The Zanzibar AIDS Commission (ZAC) is a Government Institution mandated with the responsibility of managing and coordinating the national multi-sectoral response to HIV and AIDS in Zanzibar. In seeking to improve its services at ZAC headquarter, and Pemba office, ZAC invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the vacant post.
Job purpose
Program Coordinator ZAC Headquarter,
Permanent and pensionable – employment depending on the satisfactory performance during completion of nine month of probation period,
To coordinate all of ZAC program

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES
1.) To oversee the funding program activities on day to day basis.
2.) To enhance implantation of the program intervention through routine tracking and monitoring of performance of sub recipient in a timely and accountable manner.
3.) To provide effective oversight and coordination of program activities through communication of
information related to the program.
4.) To manage the program according to the approved plan.
5.) To collect and record the programmatic data as well as compile sub-recipient report. 6.) To help in identifying where changes in programmatic input can effect better outcome. 7.) To liaise with principal recipient (ZAC), sub-recipient on programmatic matters.
8.) To designing simple planning and reporting templates for sub-recipient that will feed into the Principal recipient.
9.) To Orient sub-recipient on how to use planning tools and how to populate the the reporting. templates with qualitative and quantitative information pertinent to the program.
10.) To Produce consolidated progress update report of program on quarterly, mid year and annual basis. These should be link with program template, targets and indicators.
11.) Documents and share experiences, lesson learned and project/program result achieved in the
z.) At least a three (3) years works experience In HIV/AIDS program in a similar position. Preferences
will be given to candidate with experience of working with donor funding A'gent. 3.) Familiarity with program fund process will be an added advantage.
4.) Good technical knowledge of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
5.) Strong planning, monitoring and Evaluation skills.
6.) Demonstrate capacity to lobby and persuade others.
7.) Ability to handle large volume of work with accuracy and speed.
8.) High level on integrity, creativity, commitment, discipline and self•initiative.
9.) A good team work player with ability to work in dependently and be committed to deliver high quality work at the agreed time frame.
10.) Good interpersonal communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
11.) Computer literate with special skills in Ms Word, Excel and spread sheet application.
