Senior Project Manager
Reporting to the Head of Global Services, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Building and managing project team, reporting to the Program Manager (if applicable) or the Head of Global Services and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles are central to this position.
The role is full-time, work hours will vary based on the time zones and projects globally.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage project development from initiation to closure
- Be accountable for project results with project sponsor
- Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to complete the project charter outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
- Complete work breakdown structures to estimate effort required for each task
- Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle
- Effectively manage the project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change requests.
- Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan. If required, recruit and manage appropriate staff resources.
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to the sponsor.
- Lead coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
- Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
- Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
- Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion
Desired Skills and Experience
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- University degree
- Minimum 5 Years work experience in project management
- PMI certification
- Familiarity with project management tools, Microsoft Project, etc

Commercial Manager
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Commercial Manager will work as the primary liaison between the client and Mobilis / VeriFone Mobile Money. As part of the commercial team with an indirect reporting line to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with the customer, finance and sales in building and modelling pricing, business case modeling and contract negotiation to determine profitability.
The role is responsible for shaping deals as well as evaluating and mitigating the financial risk. You will be the key point of contact between the customer and the company in all contract and commercial negotiations.
You will provide commercial expertise with all quoting, pricing and business case modelling for prospective and existing customers.
- You will work closely with key internal personnel in managing contracts and assess all deal risk and assumptions to ensure optimization of commercial models and programs with the clients across the region.
- You will work closely with the customers to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for Mobilis / VeriFone Mobile Money.
- You will be able to prepare proposals, contracts and business cases based on market data, input from customers and HQ enabling prospects and customers to make fast and informed commercial decisions.
- The role is full-time, work hours will vary based on the time zones and projects within the region. This will include working outside normal standard local hours as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
Provide commercial leadership, direction and support in creating, optimizing and protecting the value of contracts in Africa.
- Provide timely commercial advice, negotiation and transactional support in the delivery of robust commercial solutions/arrangements in the delivery of VeriFone Mobile Money's business.
- Provide support to Sales Management to negotiate terms and conditions of all commercial contracts in the African region with the support of the wider finance team.
- Provide financial modelling expertise and pricing information to sales in line with company policies

Skills & Experience
- Commercial/legal or finance/business degree.
- Legal / Commercial experience.
- Advanced Contract Negotiation experience.
- Significant and proven sales support experience in the finance and telecommunications industries.
- Understanding of software as a service and transaction based pricing models.
- Financial modelling experience including an in-depth understanding of the principles of ROI, NPV including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Track record in delivery of high value upstream commercial transactions (5 year) and closure of large complex contractual arrangements;
- Oversight and management of JV/regulatory/commercial operations and commercial assurance as it relates to banking policy and the representation of Mobilis / VeriFone Mobile Money in the market;
- Understanding of financing and project financing of upstream, midstream and downstream projects;
- Experience in Africa; including cultural awareness and an ability to influence

Business Analyst
Reporting to the Head of Global Services, the Business Analyst will work as the primary liaison between the client and the product development team throughout the entire solution delivery. You will also manage the client relationship post-implementation and provides ongoing support from a requirements, documentation and solution perspective. The role is full-time, work hours will vary based on the time zones and projects globally. This will include working outside normal standard Tanzania hours.
