GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania
ii. Applicants must attach an up – to – date /current Curriculum Vitae (CV) having reliable contact postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers.
iii. Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
iv. Applicants should apply on the strength of the information given in this advertisement.
v. Applicants who are currently employed should channel their applications through their employers.
vi. Applicants must attach their detailed relevant certified copies of Academic certificates:
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma Transcripts.
- Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
- Computer Certificate.
- Professional Certificates from respective boards (if any).
- One recent passport size picture
- Birth certificate.
vii. Form IV and Form VI results slips are strictly not accepted
viii. Testimonials, Partial transcripts and results slips will not be accepted.
ix. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will
necessitate legal action.
x. Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
xi. Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
xii. Only short listed candidates will be informed on the date of interview

6.1. QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Holders of Bachelor Degree, Advanced Diploma or equivalents in the fields of Landscape Architecture, Mining Engineering, Highway Engineering, Computer Science/ Engineering, Communication Skills, Electromechanical Engineering, Air
Conditioning and Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive
Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Laboratory Technology,
Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Excellent English, written and oral communications skills; Knowledge in Computer application packages.
6.2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels; Administers examinations for NTA level 6 students
Conducts and supports research and consultancy works
Prepares learning resources
Supervises field training
Supervises and assists junior staff; and
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors
6.3. SALARY SCALE: PTSS 10 – 11
