This position reports to the head of Procurement and Supply Chain is responsible for identifying cost savings opportunities, executing sourcing strategies and ensure compliance in implementation of Commercial and G&A spend.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in all aspects of procurement, including supplier analysis and selection, negotiation and supply management mainly in the Marketing, Inventory, Facilities and Fleet categories.
• Create sourcing/category strategies for Marketing/Inventory/G&A aligned to company goals.
• Present/review Procurement results for decision in Purchase Committee
• Ensure Purchase Orders are raised in accordance with agreed price and conditions and follow up on delivery.
• Review outstanding PO tracking reports and ensure respective heads of departments are updated on the status.
• Proactively work with suppliers to mitigate supply problems or cost escalations
• Work with Finance to adhere to broader finance and risk requirements
• Continous improvements: Initiate and implement improvements through tools, metrics, processes and policies.
• Compliance: Ensure that a consistent professional approach to procurement is practised throughout the organisation in compliance with internal corporate policies and procedures regarding procurement and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX).
• Managing commercial procurement team as well as guiding and transfer knowledge to the them

• MSc/MBA/BSc in Business, Logistics, Finance or related field
• CIPS Certification is an added advantage
• +7 years Work Experience in FMCG, Telecom or other relevant experience
• Good knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to translate strategic requirements into operational deliverables
• Highest ethical standards + monitor ethics of team and internal customers
