JOBS AT PUBLIC SECTOR SYSTEM STRENGTHENING [PS3] USAID PROJECT
Tanzania Public Sector Systems Strengthening (PS3) Program
Various Long and Short Term Positions
Chemonics International, a leading international development consulting firm, is recruiting for a team of health, governance, and management professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Tanzania Public Sector Systems Strengthening (PS3) program. The goal of this 5-year program is to support the Government of Tanzania to strengthen the public system to promote the delivery, quality, and use of services, particularly for underserved populations. In doing so, the project will strengthen overall health care systems and key multi-sectoral components of local government authority systems to promote inclusive and evidence-based planning, management, and implementation of services. We are seeking energetic individuals with demonstrated leadership, management, and technical abilities, and a passion for making a difference in people's lives. All long-term positions will be based in Tanzania. Please note that all positions are subject to program award. We are seeking mid- and senior-level candidates in the following fields:

Long and Short Term Specialists
Health Systems Strengthening
Health Policy
Health and Human Resources Information Systems
Human Resources for Health
Information and Communications Technology for Health
Governance and Citizen Engagement
Civil Society Strengthening
Institutional Capacity Building
Public Financial Management
Health Financing
Operations Research
Monitoring and Evaluation
Private Sector Partnerships
National Dialogue
Communications
Administration (office management; finance; subcontracts; procurement; accounting)

Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in field relevant to the position applied to
Minimum 5 years of experience working in health or development programs, preferably in Tanzania 
Experience working collaboratively with the government of Tanzania, international donors, local organizations, and civil society
Experience working on or with USAID-funded programs strongly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven track record of leadership, versatility, and integrity
