KCTS Television seeks a full-time Finance and Budget Analyst to provide stewardship of KCTS financial resources through production business accounting and budgeting.
Specifically this position is responsible for providing information, research and evaluation of organizational, grant-related and other budgets during the budget process and throughout the year; maintaining project budgets; providing variance analysis for budgets; preparing monthly journal entries and maintaining records for year-end audit; preparing reports for management; tracking and paying/receiving royalties for KCTS 9 intellectual property; and maintaining fixed asset tracking system and performing annual physical inventory.
Individuals who are results driven; have excellent time management, follow-up and attention to detail skills; have an outgoing and engaging personality; and meet the following qualifications, are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Three years of Accounting or related experience
- Expertise in Excel and accounting software, working knowledge of MS Office and strong technical aptitude
- Budget, cost accounting, grant budget administration experience preferred
