The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, Market Area Americas, the Content Strategy Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging content across multiple communication channels. The successful candidate will support the Sandvik Coromant brand and marketing strategies through effective planning and creation of content that is aligned with company objectives and helps to build brand engagement with customers. This person will be an integral part of the Marketing and Business Development team in Market Area Americas. Key Performance Areas
  • Works closely with the Communications team and the Market Area Americas network to develop an overall content and media strategy based on sales and marketing plan, customer data, industry trends and local market needs
  • Ensures successful implementation of global content within the market area, to meet or exceed global KPIs
  • Provides thoughtful, creative and constructive feedback and recommendations to global team regarding development of content, online campaigns and other marketing activities
  • Creates or curates content that is relevant and valuable to customers, can be utilized across multiple channels and delivers increased audience engagement with the brand
  • Recommends and manages media plan across multiple channels, including web, traditional media, mobile, social and emerging platforms
  • Recommends best practices for digital and traditional content marketing
  • Successfully cultivates content from within the organization and from external parties, creating and maintaining a network of content providers
  • Supports Digital First initiative; ensures that content is optimized for digital performance and aligned to all marketing tactics for consistency
  • Challenges the current way of working, promotes new initiatives and initiates action
  • Participates or leads other related projects as needed
  • Takes initiative, contributes and is comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, supporting diversity and inclusion
Your profile
  • Bachelors in Communications or related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Must possess strong communication skills
  • Must read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Strong digital marketing background and experience, working knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • Good analytic skills related to content success metrics
  • Ability to deal effectively with internal stakeholders on local, regional and global levels
  • Open-minded, results-driven, self-starter able to manage time and multiple projects efficiently
  • Knowledge of marketing automation software desirable but not required
  • Agency experience a plus but not required
  • Employee must be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Employee must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
