Applications are invited from suitably qualified Public candidate to fill the following vacant position in Brewing Department at Dar Plant.

JOB TITLE:               OPERATOR (1)

REPORTS TO:   TEAM LEADER

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To safely operate plant and equipment, monitor and control the process to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

v  Prepare for plant start up

v  Maintain safe and healthy work environment

v  Measure performance attributes

v  Record performance attributes

v  Monitor and evaluate trends

v  Perform cleaning of the equipment as per standard

v  Raising of job cards for equipment problems.

v  Execute basic lubrication and inspection tasks.

v  Communicate effectively in the workplace

v  Maintenance tools in good working order

v  General Production housekeeping

THE PERSON

v  Min – Full Technician Certificate (FTC)

Ideal – FTC (Mech / Elec) or Electromechanical

v  Training: Min – 2 to 3 months on the job training

Ideal – 3 to 6 month on the job training

v  Experience: One year in manufacturing industry at Operator Level

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT

v  Able to use balance scale (both Manual and Electronic)

v  Able to use sachorometer to measure gravity and apply anti-taint net procedures

v  Ability to operate electronic operator panels

v  Ability to work on adhoc and long hours in shift patterns
