  • JOB SUMMARY:
  • Manage the development and implementation projects for New NB's Products launchings in SLBU, related to SSD's, Stills and Juices processes, ensuring communication to and from all project constituencies and stakeholders, monitoring / following-up progress, identifying deviations and proactively promoting and initiating corrective actions when necessary, by involving other functional areas with the ability to collaborative and effectively solve these problems as needed.
  • Ensure SLBU existing and potential infrastructure is timely updated, validated and enlarged with profitable, state of the art, effective, high performance standards installations. Support bottlers and management in selecting and implementing adequate infrastructure, equipment and processes designing, that fulfil TCCC standards and specifications. Support Quality and Food Safety areas to collaborative complete needed product and lines validations
  • Develop and support M&A, JV's, and co-packers projects as needed by local business. Work with subject matter experts and suppliers to access to best processing knowledge, capabilities and ensure deployment in KO system.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  1. Manage a portfolio of projects to evaluate new technologies that will make a step change in the performance of our products, focusing of the process on how to make products food safe without negative impacts on the beverage/food's taste and nutritional value. Work in partnership with Bottler, R&D, Suppliers, Marketing, Supply Chain and Engineering to identify or develop new process technologies that can deliver SLBU defined pipeline.
  2. Lead and maintain a broad communication with the marketing and commercial areas of the Business Unit to understand and follow evolution on projects implementation and infrastructure. Developing and managing routines and scoreboards to evaluate technical performance, identifying deviations / non-compliances and proving feedback to key stakeholders, and proposing corrective action plans.
  3. Design tactic and strategic plans to understand and support infrastructure growth on the immediate, short and long term aligned with the business vision. Participate on financial scenarios to determine project feasibility.
  4. Lead NB's Engineering Evaluations together with Bottlers, Suppliers and Stewardship area, ensuring projects timely executions in compliance with Company Policies, Requirements, Standards and BU guidelines. Permanent following of the implemented project's to detect possible issues and needs. Represent KO interest in shared infrastructure investments through existing business models.
  5. Understand and participate on innovation and marketing initiatives by following ideation process and identifying infrastructural needs from the product characteristics and requirements, as well as considering volume and package needs.
  6. Anticipate and understand new technologies and processes on market to capture improvement opportunities. Lead the introduction of new capabilities and knowledge on manufacturing. Research, develop and propose innovation and solutions to generate a sustainable competitive advantage, on Technological new alternatives, equipment and processes.
  7. Maintain a network of technology and process suppliers in order to support the requirements of South Latin BU. Gain broad knowledge of toll packers at the Business Unit to use the existent capacity to back up new projects.

    Technical Qualifications:

    • Supply Chain: knowledge of functional processes of the supply chain and the interrelationship between these processes.
    • Technical knowledge and a minimum experience on beverage technology of 6 years
    • Conduct business in more than one functional area, and in more than one language.
    • Broad knowledge on installation technical aspects and on carbonated and non-carbonated beverages as well as the processes and technologies involved
    • Skills on project management and intercompany teams integration

    • Ability to efficiently understand new technologies and their application

    • Broad experience on manufacturing processes
    • Bachelor's degree from a university or equivalent (Food, Industrial or Chemical engineering degree)
    • 6 years relevant business experience in Engineering / Infrastructure Planning related experience in fast moving consumer goods industry. Preferable knowledge acquired in Quality, Safety and Environmental – Good Field experience
      English proficiency
      Desirable advanced degree beyond the master's level education in a University (e.g. Master degree on Food Processing) or equivalent
