The Operations Director, Pakistanwillprovide inspiration and to model empowering servant leadership for fundraising, Programme Design and Quality and all operations staff across Pakistan for programmes, Humanitarian & Emergency Affairs (HEA), Transformational Development Indicators (TD) and Advocacy. To ensure an open, collaborative, gender balanced, ethnically and religiously diverse, innovative Operations team is ensuring efficient and effective achievement of meaningful impact for Pakistan's children.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensure a consistent and diverse pipeline of funding for both long term development, advocacy and emergency programming.
- Ensure high quality, punctual and accurate monitoring & evaluation (M&E) and programme and financial reporting on all projects.
- Contribute to the development and to implement a significant portion of the national strategy, ensuring relevance to the children and communities we serve. As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), to contribute to the overall WV Pakistan (WVP) country strategy.
- People & Culture (P&C) is World Vision's human resources (HR) function. In coordination with People and Culture department, provide leadership and support to the Operations staff to ensure effective value-led talent management of their teams and forecasting P&C needs, core competencies identification, development and building on those to advance the operations function.
- Ensure Operations Department is guided by sound developmental principles and World Visions Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation Framework (LEAP) and Development Program Approach (DPA), incorporating Citizen Voice Action (CVA), and integrated peacebuilding and conflict sensitivity (IPACS).
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
- At least 8 years' experience in development, working in a developing country.
- Full Adherence to security protocols.
- Experience in Project Cycle Management and report writing.
- Knowledge in change management towards flat, open management style and away from hierarchical, command and control model.
- Ability to manage staff in remote locations.
- Clear understanding of the workings of major donor perspectives, requirements and standards.
