Bugando Medical Centre is a consultant and teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It has 900 beds and over 1000 employees. It is a referral centre for tertiary specialist care for ei!lkr regions, namely: - Mwanza, Geita, Simiu, Mara, Kagera, Shinyanga, Tabora and Kigoma. It serves a catchment's population of over 14 million people.

Nutrition Officer II (2-Posts)
Entry Qualifications:
Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, foods and nutrition or related field from any recognized institution. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides clinical nutrition services to inpatients and/or outpatients, including; Assessment of individual nutritional status
Evaluation and recommendation of appropriate dietary interventions to improve nutritional status Dietary interventions include oral diets, tube feedings and intravenous feedings.
Provides education and consultation for hospital staff, including nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Salary Scale; PGSS.I0
Age Limit: Not above 40 years of age
