FINANCE MANAGER AT BUWASA

BUWASA is an expanding Autonomous entity which is responsible for supplying of clean, safe water as well as provision of waste water disposal services for Bukoba Municipality.
The Authority is looking for competent, dynamic, energetic, committed, experienced and well qualified Tanzanian who is capable of embracing and driving change in BUWASA to fill the following vacant posts,

1.0 POSITION Finance Manager (1 Post)

REPORTS TO MANAGING DIRECTOR
(i) Qualification & Experience
.:. Degree/Advance Diploma in Accounting and Finance, CPA (T) and registration with NBAA as Authorized Accountant.
Post graduate or Masters in the same field as well as Management experience in water sector will be an added advantage
.:. Applicant should posses not less than 4 years experience in a reputable organization of which 2 years should be in senior position,
.:. Applicant should not exceed 40 years of birth.
The Finance Manager is the head of Department responsible for finance and reporting direct to Managing Director, Among others he/she will perform the following duties;
1. To direct and control the financial planning and accounting
2, Provide advice to the Management on all matters related with f'inance and ensures that the financial Regulation are strictly adhered.
3, Responsible all budget, plan, review and issuance of budget guidelines for Boards budgeting purpose,
4, Manage prudent the financial and Accounting affairs of the Authority efficiently,
5, Ensure financial plans and budgets are submitted to the Board of Directors,
6, Ensuring provision of financial information required by the Management and Board of Directors.
7. Make sure that all internal and external audits are properly facilitated and queries are answered accurately and on time.
8. Risk Management including risk assessment insurance, operational covers and renews,
9, Monitor all available information sources on market trend that may have an effect on prices/ lead times and make recommendations for action to the Managing Director,
10. Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by Managing Director.
