Reporting to the COO of Barclays Bank Kenya, you will ensure that individual projects within the portfolio are delivered to agreed cost, time and quality.  You will represent the whole change community locally and establish key relationships not only with local executives up to MD level, but also with the Country Management Committees across Africa.  Your vast project and change background will demonstrate your ability to appreciate what a business looks like and the benefits large scale change can bring to an organization.  Your strong IT and Technology background will ensure you are able to hit the ground running as the majority of the current projects are technology based.  Furthermore, you will have had exposure to Shared Service centres, where you can highlight your ability to change a location into a regional hub. Qualifications Ideally coming from a Banking background, you will have 8-12 years experience in project management and change.  You will be able to highlight large scale projects you have led, demonstrating your strong leadership qualities when running large teams of project managers effectively.   You will have the relationship management skills required to ensure that strong ties are built with key stakeholders from a local and regional perspective.  You will also possess knowledge of various techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling complex portfolios of change to ensure projects are sequenced to maximize the delivery.
