Project Management Specialist - Public Health USAID Tanzania

Required Qualifications:

Education:
Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH), Business Administration, or health management; OR Medical Doctor Degree (MD) is required.

Prior Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing donor-funded health programs is required. Language
Proficiency:
Level IV (fluency - speaking/reading/writing) in English and Kiswahili required. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the structure and functions of US Government programs in Tanzania, including detailed knowledge of USG's role and function under Global Health Initiative; USG foreign development policies, guidelines and procedures for administration of cooperative agreements; and intra-agency procedures for coordination with other USG agencies in Tanzania.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to be highly productive in a team setting
Demonstrated track record of personal accountability and meeting performance expectations in a timely and self-directed fashion. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
