We are pleased to announce that UNESCO is seeking applications for two posts, one based in Paris (France) and the other in Johannesburg (South Africa), in HIV & AIDS and Education.

The posts are Appointments of Limited Duration (ALD) with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The salary is in accordance with UNESCO scales and includes a post adjustment.

The appointments are for an initial period of one year and may be extended thereafter.  Individuals engaged under the ALD scheme are governed by provisions of the UNESCO Staff Regulations and General Conditions applicable to Appointments of Limited Duration (“General Conditions”) as established by the Director-General.  The ALD provides adequate social security coverage and medical care.
