With 25 operational branches in Tanzania, DTB is now looking for capable and qualified individuals to fill in the following positions:-
4. Head - Corporate Banking
Reporting to the CEO, Head of Corporate has primary responsibility to contribute to the growth in volume and earnings of Bank's Corporate Banking business and ensuring a healthy Corporate Banking portfolio by guiding, mentoring the corporate banking team and fostering responsible client/bank relationships,
Key Responsibilities;
• Ensure growth in volumes & earnings from the portfolio being handled in line with agreed business budget.
• Provide high quality closure of credit process through the branch channel.
• Ensure overall health of the corporate portfolio.
• Build and manage relationships with clients and understand their more complex needs. Through regular meetings to maximize client satisfaction.
• Being proactive and creative in understanding and providing solutions to client's financial needs and services.
• Drive and facilitate cross selling of bank's products including.
• Building business relationships regionally (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda & Burundi) and in-country with view of attracting businesses across the borders.
Educational qualifications
• University degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field / equivalent experience.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA / CPA is an added advantage.
Experience & competencies required
• A minimum of 10-15 years banking experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position with direct handling of credit process /portfolio.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong evaluation, communication, presentation and reporting skills.
• Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking individual
Good track record of excellent customer relationship management.
Good market knowledge and key contacts in business circles.
