3. PROCUREMENT & LOGISTIC MANAGER 1 POSITION DSM
Job purpose: The purpose of this job is to provide timely and reliable
procurement and logistics services and analyze logistics and procurement
information that leads to effective procurement and logistics decisions.
The post holder reports to the Head of Logistics, Procurement and Administration.and is responsible for countrywide management of logistics and
procurement function in collaboration with the Head of Logistics and Procurement.
Educational Qualification and Experience
• University degree in Logistics, Procurement and supplies
management, Administration, or Business management field with
5 y~ars of practical experience in similar position.
A professional qualification and membership of recognized
purchasing and supplies institution.
Experience in environment with significant scale of country wide
logistics management including procurements, export and
imports.
Clear exposure to Emergency contexts.
Demonstrated relevant progressive experience in similar posts
Deeper understanding of the various Donor grants procurement
rules and guidelines
Humanitarian context exposure and skills
Capacity building and coaching skills
Proposal review skills
Planning and organizing skills
Strong Supply chain issues and how they link with Project
management
Problem solving skills
Strong team building and motivational skills
Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
-Strong negotiating, facilitating and influencinq skills.
Advisory skills on technical and performance management
matters.
