Tanzania Federation of Cooperatives seeks to recruit a new staff in the following position

Job Title: Driver (1)

Duties and Responsibility:
Driving properly any type of vehicle assigned to him/her
Ensuring that the vehicle assigned is always clean, in good running condition and is parked in a safe place.
Undertaking routine checks on the vehicle to ensure that it is serviceable.
Reporting promptly any detected fault or defect on the motor vehicle.
Certifying that the repair/maintenance carried out on the vehicle is of adequate standard.
Sending the vehicles for service when due and advice on fuel consumption rates.
Using the vehicles only on assigned duties and to keep time when on duty,
Ensuring. that the security of vehicles is safeguard all the time.
Maintaining vehicle logbook accurately and timely recorded
Ensuring that the vehicle is always having a valid insurance cover.
Reporting when the vehicles is due for service.
Performing any other duties as may be required by the personnel and Administrative Officer.

Qualification and Experience:
Holder of form IV Secondary Certificate with clean and valid class C driving license, driving experience of at least three years in motor vehicle. Possession grade test 1 in motor mechanics is an added advantage.

Model of employment:
One (1) year contract on renewable basis.
Salary:
Attractive salary will be provided to the successful candidate .
