VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT - COLLEGE OF BUSSINESS EDUCATION ( CBE )

College of Business Education was established by Act of Parliament, No. 31of 1965. The College of Business Education is a Government training Institution operating with 'semi' autonomously; it is under the Ministry of Trade and Industries. As a Higher Learning Institution which provides training in Accountancy, Procurement & Supplies Management and other business related disciplines. Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions, at the College of Business Education (CBE).


1. POST: ASSISTANT LECTURER – (4 Posts)

1.1. Duties and Responsibility
i. Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor's Degree);
ii. Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;
iii. Conducts research, seminars and case studies;
iv. Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;
v. Prepares teaching manual;
vi. Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

1.2. Qualifications and Experience
Applicant must be holders of a good Master's Degree with a GPA of 3.5 and above at undergraduate level specializing in the following fields:
i. Development Studies–1 Post
ii. Marketing –2 Posts
iii. Business Administration-1 Post

1.3. Remuneration
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution's Salary Scale PHTS 2.

NB: GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania and not above 45 years old.

e. One recent passport size picture and birth certificate.
vi. FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS ARE STRICTLY NOT ACCEPTED
vii. Testimonials, Partial transcripts and results slips will not be accepted.
viii. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action
ix. Applicants currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
x. Applicants for entry levels currently employed in the Public Service should not apply, they have to adhere to Government Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30thNovember, 2010Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
xi. Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
xii. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education should be certified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA)
xiii. Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU)
