Tanzania Coffee Board which is a government body established by the Tanzania Coffee Industry Act. No. 23 of 20"01 and miscellaneous Amendments Act of 2009, is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced, dynamic and motivated Tanzanian citizens to immediately fill vacant positions currently existing in the Board.

JOB TITLE: Accountant
Responsible to: Finance Manager
Distinct areas of expertise and experience:
Holder of First Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, professional modules C and D from are coqnized Institution. He/she must also have a working experience of not less than three (3) years in the same field .from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs variety of accounting tasks including receiving and paying out cash and cheques. '
Maintaining accounts records
Preparing trial balance
Custodian of accountable documents
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor

Senior Coffee Roaster II
Responsible to: Promotion Manager

Distinct areas of expertise and experience:
Holder of Form Four/Six Certificate, Certificate in
Food Science and Technology or its equivalent with at least five (5) years working experience in the same field from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving coffee beans
Verify quality of coffee beans
Weighs the beans to ascertain the weight
Operate roasting machine and roast them in the required standard, light, medium or dark.
Keep updated record of sales and stocks
Ensure there is available stocks of coffee for sales within and for export.
Supervise staff under him
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by his/her superior

Driver Grade I

Responsible to: Human Resources and
Administrative Officer

Distinct areas of expertise and experience
Holder of a National Form Four Certificate with
Trade Test Grade II from VETA with a clean and valid driving license CLASS "C" with an accident free record. He/she must also have a working experience of not less than three (3) years in a similar field from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives motor cars, pick-ups of the Board as may be assigned;
Ensures motor vehicles and their accessories are in good condition;
Ensures the car he drives is periodically serviced as scheduled;
Makes some minor repairs;
Maintains and records log sheets for journeys made;
Reports promptly any defects or problems detected in the vehicles
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his/her superior.

Port Inspector Grade I

Distinct areas of expertise and experience:
Holder of a Diploma/ Degree in Clearing and Forwarding or its equivalent from a recognized Institution. He/she must also have a walking experience of not less than three (3) years in the same field from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To post received documents in the register
To open and maintain clearing working file
To prepare weekly clearance reports for operational information and quarterly and annual report for management information Supervise subordinates;
Assists the Export Manager in planning;
Prepares preliminary report of the section;
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor

Office Assistant Grade I
Responsible to: Human Resources and Administrative Officer

Distinct areas of expertise and experience:
Holder of National Form Four Certificate with passes in English and Kiswahili with at least three (3) years relevant working experience from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To clean offices and their surrounding environment
To send and collect mails to/from the Post Office on a daily basis
To operate office tools such as photocopy machines, duplicating machines, etc.
To send files assigned to various officials within departments
To dispatch and deliver outgoing mails to other organizations on a daily basis
To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his/her superior
Supervise staff under him.

REMUNERATION:
The successful candidate will be offered remunerations commensurate with the TCB's remuneration schemes.
