REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO PROVIDE SANITATION & HYGIENE CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES

Background

SNV, Netherlands Development Organization is a not-for-profit international development organization working in Tanzania with local partners to equip communities, businesses and organizations with the tools, knowledge and connections they need to increase their incomes and gain access to basic services.   SNV has been working in Tanzania since the 1971 and currently has offices in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha and satellite offices in Morogoro and Iringa.   SNV Tanzania is currently implementing a 4 years project on Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All (SSH4A) in rural areas of Karatu, Babati, Kwimba, Geita and Chato districts.

 The Call for Expression of Interest

SNV Tanzania is inviting registered Tanzanian organisations based/or who have offices in Karatu, Babati, Kwimba, Geita and Chato districts to provide capacity development services on Sanitation and Hygiene in the rural areas of Karatu, Babati, Kwimba, Geita and Chato districts.

Submitting and Application

Potential applicants are asked to provide the following with their application;

• An organizational/institutional profile (including mission, vision, geographic coverage and registration/TIN number)
• Overview of the organization's specialization(s) and their experience and expertise in Sanitation and hygiene
• Overview of the organization's specializations(s) and their experience and expertise on Community Led Total Sanitation
• Overview of the organization's specializations(s) and their experience with working with Local government Authorities and mobilization of communities to improve sanitation and hygiene.
