NURSERY SCHOOL TEACHERS POSITION

The teacher is the most important resource of the school. The primary role of a teacher is to create a conducive atmosphere for learning. A teacher should be able to assess the level of his students and plan his work according to his findings. The ability to be versatile in employing teaching style is an integral part of a teacher's qualification. He should use a variety of methods in his teaching to ensure that he is understood by the students and should be able to impart to his students the content of the subject he teaches. Most importantly, it is the duty of the teacher to train his students to be inquisitive. The students must be taught how to collect information from various sources and to apply the knowledge gained. A teacher should be able to manage his time, maintain class discipline and plan his work for each day, week, term and for the whole academic year. He should be able to meet deadlines and be punctual at all times. Teachers have to be good role models to their students since students emulate their teachers' mode of dress, talk and conduct while in school. A teacher must remember that he is in charge of the students at all times; whether he is teaching in the classroom, attending assembly, or conducting other activities.
