A1) US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Cultural Affairs Specialist in the Public Affairs Section, \SIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

The Cultural Affairs Specialist is the chief source of advice and guidance on carrying out cultural affairs programming at the U.S, Embassy Dar es Salaam, Under the direction of the Deputy Public Affairs Officer (DPAO), the Cultural Affairs Specialist seeks to promote US, Mission Tanzania policy goals and objectives through cultural and educational exchanges involving individual citizens, groups and institutions in Tanzania. The Cultural Affairs Specialist's chief instruments are actual and virtual speakers, seminars, cultural exchanges, motion pictures, and publications,
