Norway Registers Development East Africa limited (NRD EA) works in the field of security for digital environment as a local branch of a Norwegian company, Norway Registers Development AS. We are now looking for qualified candidate to fill on the Technical Sales Representative vacancy.
Job descriptions
• The Server Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in delivery the client projects according to the proposed architectures
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Install and configure systems such as supports infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Contribute to and maintain system standards.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
Qualification
• Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as computer engineering or Computer science.
• Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in UNIX and Microsoft
• A highest Cumulative GPA (between 4.0-5.0) will be an added advantage
• Must demonstrate a highest level of understanding, analytics an reasoning skills
• Must flexible to work under deferent cultural environment
• Must be flexible to travel outside the country up to maximum of consecutives 7 months.
• One must be between 23 to 33 years old
• A minimum of one year is required working in a similar role
