SUMMARY:
FICA Tanzania is part of 22 other subsidiaries owned by FINCA microfinance Holdings (FMH) based in Washington DC and licensed by central bank in Tanzania to offer banking services since January 2013 FICA operates worldwide in Latin American Eurasia the greater Middle East, and Africa serving over 1,700,000 clients. In continuous effort to increase efficiency in operations, FINCA Tanzania seeks to recruit for the fallowing positions:

 JOB SUMMARY
 The regional recovery officer is responsible for making sure that all bad loans of village banking business loans, small group loans, Agricultural, Educational and other loans that will be offered are collected back.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FALLOWING.OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
•     Monitoring and closely following the overdue loans.
•    Determine the appropriate recovery action depending on the product policy and procedure in place.
•    Receive and analyses the performance report from debt collector agents on weekly basis.
•    Accept, monitor and report on arrangements made with late payers/ debtors for outstanding debts.
•    Determiner the appropriates recovery action and liaise with debt collection agency regarding process until finalized.
•     Review, monitor and action delinquency list for each product and confirm if the debts until finalized.
•     Prepare and submit the recovery report as per standard duration to recover manager initiate telephone contact with later debt payers which are above 30 days where appropriate.
•    Support regional branches on recovery officers at branch.
•    Daily supervision of other recovery officer at branch.
•    Evaluate, guide, coach, mentor and administer the recovery officer under branch level properly communicate direct and manage debt collector agents.

•    Strong interpersonal skills.
•    Understanding the cultural diversity within the community.
•    Knowledge of equity principles and faimess of humanity.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Degree or advanced diploma in business management, psychology, banking or any related cource.
•    Minimum of 2 years experienced in recovery role.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English & Swahili.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency in excel word, internet and power point.
