Position: Volunteer Agricultural worker

Qualifications: Formal education or experience in agriculture, preferably organic / bio intensive agriculture

Responsibilities

Coordinate and delivers all support in bio-intensive agriculture for beneficiaries across all the programmes with the aim of increasing food security and livelihoods in families.

Work with individual family members (target families and reunified families) to build their skills in bio-intensive agriculture and set up their own gardens/plots over time through regular support visits 
Liaise closely with responsible social worker Set up and manage show plot 

Organise and deliver training in bio-intensive agriculture for groups of family members 
Assess family needs for tools and seeds etc and organise for the purchase and distribution of these together with admin 

Monitor and document families progress and achievements in agriculture and report back to social worker
