IBM Research Africa is IBM's newest global research lab and is located in Nairobi, Kenya. We are searching for UI/UX designer who will work with a larger team of research scientists to design and develop mobile and desktop products, which are relevant to African consumers.
As a UI/UX in Research, you will be expected to define and develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with an emphasis on mobile design approaches. In addition to a resume, candidates must submit a portfolio of their work.

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Design Tools: Photoshop, adobe illustrator etc
- At least 3 years experience in responsive design (Design for multiple screen sizes and resolutions
- At least 3 years experience in user experience understanding and best practices
- At least 3 years experience in Front end Technologies: HTML5 and CSS3, and at least some Javascript.
- At least 3 years experience in Android application development
- English: Fluent
- Master's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in Design Tools: Photoshop, adobe illustrator etc
- At least 4 years experience in responsive design (Design for multiple screen sizes and resolutions
- At least 4 years experience in user experience understanding and best practices
- At least 4 years experience in Front end Technologies: HTML5 and CSS3, and at least some Javascript.
