TECHNICIAN II (ENERGY)
QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of form IV Certificate plus Certificate or Diploma in Thermo Dynamics, (same as National Technical Award (NTA) level 4 or 6 from recognized institution). Working experience will be an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take charge of the laboratory for cleanliness, arrangements, plan of activities and keep records of standard practices
Prepare specimens, or reagents and all facilities for anticipated physical analysis, chemical analysis, research and development, consultancy or technical services activities.
Carry out chemical analysis on industrial inputs, raw materials and Products under the direction of senior research officer, with the aim of enhancing and ascertaining quality in industry. ,
Carry out one (1) research Work under the Supervision of a senior research officer.
Assist ROs in executing at least two (2) customer contracts per quarter in a year to increase institution income.
Identify and report in writing to the HOD all equipment due for service, calibration or repair in the laboratory.
In collaboration with ROs execute two (2) approved projects in I a year.
Carry out any other duties/assignment given to you by your" Superiors

All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania. Applicants who are currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.

Partial transcripts and results slips will not be accepted.
Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action
Applicants who have/were retired from the public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education should be certified by The National Examination council of Tanzania (NECTA)
Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU)
Only short listed candidates will be informed on a date for interview
