The Contractors Registration Board is a Government Regulatory Board under the Ministry of
Works established by Act of Parliament No 17 of 1997 with the objective to register and regulate all types of Contractors and to promote the development of their capacities for the purpose of protecting consumers of construction services in Tanzania.
In order to carry out its functions effectively and thereby meet its objective, the Board needs a
dynamic, creative and performance driven Tanzanian citizen to fill the following positions.
Qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and knowledge in . Net/MVC programming
environment, SOL Server 2010 Database administration and management, C# programming
and working with heterogeneous systems. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in. IT
will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining the Board's software packages and
application systems.
Administering computer systems by ensuring that all the time the systems are properly functioning and help users to understand their operations.
Developing, adapting and supporting user-friendly interfaces to computer systems.
Appraising business systems performance and giving recommendations.
Creating backups for business systems, testing and updating contingency measures in accordance with the Board's policy
Performing other related duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
