Business context and Main Purpose of the Job
- Supports the implementation of regional / local R&D elements of the Category Program.
- Deliver activation and cost effectiveness of projects
- Gives input for the development, together with local/ regional marketing, of a strategic vision and communication for regional / local consumer and technical needs
- Give input & approve the specifications and communication material for new innovations.
- Support the implementation of local / regional innovation, renovation and promotional projects using the relevant toolbox technology.
- Help translate local / regional needs into appropriate input for the Categories / Development organisations.
- Give technical / functional support to launch / relaunches.
- Manage compliance of the products with local legislation.
- Where appropriate: represent Unilever with external relevant bodies.
- Advise marketing to accept limitations in the product design resulting from
- legal/ technial constraints.
- Supports global Design and Discover teams with regional consumer needs and insights.
- University Degree
- 3-4 years experience in Research and development in Processing
- FMCG preferred
- Excellence in Science and Technology
- Consumer / Customer focus.
- Project Management skills
- Discover, design, deploy role experience
