Corporate Safety and Security is responsible for the functions within the safety and security management system. Security in this context means the identification, mitigation and management of security related threats to Statoil's people, assets and operations. The role of the corporate security organization is to provide independent security advice to the CEC, set the strategic direction and requirements for security across the group, monitor and support the business areas and provide the authoritative corporate security threat assessment. This position also focuses on delivering established executive protection measures to specified senior executives and supporting business area security professionals in undertaking their roles in the same programme.
Job description
- Review and improve Executive Protection structure, plans and implementation
- Identify and implement required executive protection measures corresponding to the prevailing threat picture and corporate instructions.
- Provide security risk assessments and subsequent security plans for identified events and activities
- Support other staff in implementation of executive protection measures
- Maintain close liaison with relevant offices within Statoil
- Perform security deliveries to Statoil globally (for example: security risk assessments, competence, training and exercises
- Work within and towards/across all security disciplines (personnel security, information security and physical security)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security network
Qualifications
- Significant experience in the area of executive protection from the planning and implementation perspectives
- Knowledge of industry best practices within executive protection and more widely within the security environment
- Eight years of experience in executive protection of senior personnel, including in a management role
- Some operational experience is a must
- Some international experience is an advantage
- Other relevant experience can compensate for lower security experience and competence
- A current Norwegian security clearance would be a benefit
- Education (preferred) - MSc. or equivalent in related subject
