Laboratory Technician Positions at the United Nations (FS-5)

The United Nations seeks qualified Laboratory Technicians to be included in the roster for immediate deployment to Ebola-affected countries in Africa.  These positions are primarily involved in non-Ebola Treatment Units. Each clinic, however, may receive walk-in patients who meet case criteria.
Isolation, holding and transfer capability is within the scope of practice for these posts.
Education: Laboratory Technician Diploma or equivalent in Laboratory Science, with technical training in medical laboratory.
Work experience: At least eight years of progressively responsible experience in laboratory analysis.
