Reporting to: Technical Supervisor
The job holder will be responsible for safe and efficient driving of liquid gas tankers to intended destinations both within and outside the country.
Main Responsibilities
Driving vehicles/trucks safely and timely to assigned destination and ensure that there is on time delivery of products as per customer specifications.
Offloading of goods at customer sites and ensures that delivery notes are submitted.
Adhering to vehicle daily inspection procedures and report any discrepancies to authorities.
Ensuring that tankers are always clean both inside and outside as per road tanker sanitation program.
Any other duties reasonably requested by Direct Manager.
Requirement of the position
Education, qualification and Experience
Certificate of Secondary education and Certificate of Driving Competence from the National Institute of
Transport.
A valid driving license class E.
5 Years working as a heavy duty commercial driver from a reputable institution with clean record..
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
A certificate in Defensive Driving course will be an added advantage.
