With a rapidly growing business in Africa our client is now looking to hire an Assistant General Manager to establish and manage an import, sales and distribution business in Tanzania.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will provide assistance in all aspects of staffing, financial management and operational requirements. Providing input into business strategy, operations and people management, as well as developing and maintaining a customer base and sustainable supply chains.

Desired Skills and Experience
Educated to degree level, this is considered an entry level role into the business.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the trading and/or soft commodities industry. Experience of logistics, warehouse operations and quality control is also desirable. With a strong commercial acumen and customer focus they must have the drive to expand sales into new markets, increasing the current customer base.
